Mobile Security

Security On-The-Go

We all work on the go. Now you can do it securely.

The new enterprise security risk is mobile devices. The Mobile Suite lets you efficiently administrate, automate and secure your company’s Smartphones from a central console, configuring thousands of mobile devices with a single mouse click. Our tool puts your devices behind a Mobile Firewall, protected by a variety of tools (VPN, access points, Proxy Servers, etc.). Tailor the tool to specific security concerns. Configure location dependent device behavior. Pre-define internet connections. With Corisecio – Mobile Suite, your enterprise has a tool to efficiently administer your mobile risks while decreasing risks, costs and administrative effort.

Adapters

Mobile Firewall

Protect the information on your enterprise’s mobile devices. With Mobile Firewall, you can protect and monitor network settings, email accounts, exchange configurations, and WLAN, Bluetooth, and IrDA Interfaces. You can block unwanted applications and features like digital cameras and SD card access. The protected run-time environment enables control of all Windows standard functionality, applications and interfaces (WLAN, Active Sync, etc.).

Mobile Firewall keeps your users productive by keeping them secure.

Mobile PKI

Enables easy creation, distribution and use of certificates for Single-Sign On, file encryption as well as email encryption or VPN connections on Windows Mobile devices. For BlackBerry a certificate-based encryption of the communication can be realized.

LBS Automation

When you’re dealing with mobile devices, you need to have a dynamic security policy, one that responds to device location. Location Based Services (LBS) Automation lets you configure and automate location dependent behaviour on your users’ devices. For the first time, you’ll be able configure networks and WLAN settings based on geo-position data, define security settings, and configure country specific internet and roaming settings. You can receive up-to-date tracking data, even on non-GPS devices, record position information, and trigger preconfigured location dependent programs and scripts. With LBS Automation, you are able to dynamically control your users’ mobile devices.

Mobile Suite – Enterprise

Adds user, rights & role management to the Mobile Suite. You can integrate existing Meta Directories, Trust Center and CA. Roll-Out solutions through Web applications or Portal. You can also modify the suite – removing unnecessary adapters as necessary.

Architecture

The Mobile Suite works with an administration component and a runtime environment on the mobile device. IT administration can configure mobile end devices “remotely.” The configuration and security settings are generated as Security Rules and administration can create installation packages (CAB, Desktop Installer, SD-Card) through wizards. The Mobile Suite offers automated methods for distribution at the Enterprise Version. The stand-alone version supports leading solutions for software distribution (like ActiveSync).

After transfer to the mobile devices, the Mobile Suite Software (and 3rd Party Software) is installed and the Security Rules are implemented. The securityRunTime (secRT) serves as a basis for the client software, creating a safe environment protected against manipulation, uninstall and termination. Furthermore, the secRT enforces Security Rules as a service. This architecture allows you to address and use system wide services by a single function. In addition, each adapter (ie., Mobile Firewall) utilizes the secRT as a secure runtime environment, meaning that you modify them easily.

Embedded systems like Windows Mobile are very hardware dependent. The Mobile Suite answers the surge of new devices and versions with a unique concept that enables new device support without code change. Device specific information is swapped out in a “Device Knowledge Base“ and set aside until installed on the device. During the installation, the installer generates the device specific Cab-Files from this information. Support and licensing of new devices is done via updating the Knowledge Base.

Thus, every new generation of PDA will be easily supported and secured by the Mobile Suite.
