Flexibility and adaptability are essential components of any emerging solutions today. Our Security Framework uses an innovative Adapter Concept, which facilitates the modularization of adapters. Loaded into your system with an Adapter Loader, specific Adapters are available immediately. Don’t use them anymore? Simply remove them. Our Adapter Concept lets you tailor the tool to your specific, dynamic needs.
There are four security suites: Data, Mobile, Portal and SOA Security. Each has its own set of adapters that can be plugged in according to your enterprise needs. For instance, if your business needs a Mobile Firewall, Data Encryption and a Portal Virus Filter, these can be implemented and tailored to your specific situation–without other unnecessary adapters.

Every part of the security suite is powered by securityRunTime. The focus of securityRunTime is automation of Security Design, Roll-Out, Deployment, and Security Management. This allows for a complete orchestration on all of the suites, making security centrally controllable from one central cockpit.
There are several levels of modularization in Security Framework: code development and product components.
While modularization in code development itself is not a product feature that benefits customers directly, it is a beautiful thing to do, and it’s hard to do it correctly and consistently. Modularization offers long-term benefits to customers as it eventually lowers the product development costs and therefore the cost of products themselves, it also allows customers to easily enhance and customize various components of Security Framework suite products.
All of our Security Framework’s functionality is available as a service through the Adapter Concept. Again, this is based on SOA principles and it allows modules to interact with each other easily. Besides a multitude of standard adapters, individual customizations and functionality development is possible–by either you or us. Our open platform strives to create a space where your specific requirements can be realized without reinventing the wheel.
The Adapter Loader imports and manages adapters. For the security-minded, certified adapters are validated through a Security Check that checks adapter signatures. In principle, an unsigned adapter could be loaded into your system as well.
