SAP New General Ledger (GL) Accounting contains functions that combine SAP Classic GL Accounting with the Special Purpose Ledger (SPL) component. Many organizations have questions such as what are the combinations, new functions, how can we take advantage of the new functions, etc. Currently there are eight (8) SAP supported standard migration scenarios. The first scenario merges the FI Ledgers: Classic, Consolidation, and Cost of Goods Sold.
